TECHNICAL WEBINAR ON INNOVATION CAPACITY

Save the date for the next MOVE21 Technical Webinar, which will focus on how to foster innovation in public organisations.

The event is open to the public and will occur on 19 January 2024 from 10:00 to 12:00 CET, facilitated by EUROCITIES and TNO.

As a cornerstone of progress in cities, innovation capacity is the ability of public organisations to use innovation to address complex societal challenges. It encompasses various factors that indicate whether a public organisation has the skills and knowledge to implement innovative practices. It embodies the collaborative mix of skills, knowledge, and adaptive practices critical to implementing initiatives, such as MOVE21. This multi-faceted concept is encapsulated in five key elements: Leadership, Organisation, Knowledge Management, Networking and Learning.

This webinar aims to introduce the basic concept and framework of innovation capacity, to better understand the challenges the cities run into, how they cope with them and what are good strategies to overcome them. The webinar will showcase examples from the MOVE21 Living Lab cities and other projects that give inspiration and best practices.
