To support wider replication and uptake, the project designed a cascade cities programme which provided peer learning and selected capacity building opportunities for cascade cities.
The selected six urban nodes collaborated with the other urban nodes on the Scan-Med corridor through the Scan-Med Observatory.
The project’s secondary target group included the cascade cities Brasov, Murcia, Sofia, Stockholm, Thessaloniki, Toulouse, and all other urban nodes in Europe (through the Urban Nodes Forum) in order to maximise the uptake and impact of solutions.
MOVE21 set up a comprehensive learning programme for local authorities to bridge the pre-identified knowledge gap and thus ease the transferability of successful MOVE21 measures to other cities in Europe and beyond.
